These rare restraints were acquired as a gift from a retired Navy SEAL operator and represent the exact style utilized during 1990s VBSS (Vessel Boarding, Search, and Seizure) maritime interdiction operations. A fantastic, authentic addition to any elite military memorabilia collection.
According to our research, these specialized restraints were originally constructed from durable, weather-resistant Nylon 6/6. When manufactured, this high-performance material provided excellent abrasion resistance, a functional temperature operating range from -40°F to 185°F, and a heavy-duty minimum loop tensile strength of 120 pounds.
