Up for sale is an authentic 2000s FDNY Engine 53 / Navy SEAL Tribute Patch. This historic design traces directly back to Medal of Honor recipient Lt. Michael P. Murphy. Before deploying to Afghanistan in 2005, Lt. Murphy requested patches from a close friend at FDNY’s Engine 53 / Ladder 43 ("El Barrio’s Bravest" in Spanish Harlem). He famously wore the patch on his combat uniform as a daily reminder of 9/11 and the profound sacrifices made by first responders and service members.

This is a genuine, authentic patch that we personally picked up at the Engine 53 / Ladder 43 firehouse (located at 1830 Third Avenue, New York City) in the early 2000s.
