S&S Precision Manta Strobe
Period 2011. Manta Strobe is a dedicated helmet mounted, multi-spectrum light emitter optimized for Military Operations. It has the lightest weight and lowest profile in its power class. The curved hook Velcro base fits perfectly to tactical helmets. The smooth shape without protruding edges reduces snag hazard. The Main Housing or Partitioned Battery Compartment is waterproof for 150 feet underwater with zero water penetration.
The strobe is powered by one 3V CR-123 battery. It provides multiple Infrared and Overt LEDs generate an overlapping and omnidirectional light emission at the push of easily located buttons.
One hand operated tail button turns on IR mode (with vibrating feedback). Two side buttons require simultaneous activation to activate visible strobe. Hence, reducing operator error and increasing safety in the field.

MS-2000(M) Military Distress Marker Strobe
Period 2000s. Since the introduction of the MS-2000(M), it has become the main Combat Search and Rescue(C-SAR) light carried by elite military forces around the world. The MS-2000(M) meets all military specifications, including MIL-L-38217D and CID A-A-59176, and it has many improved life saving features to meet multiple mission capability.

SDU-5/E Distress Marker Strobe Light
Period: late 1960s to present
SDU-5/E Distress Marker Strobe Light + Flash guard / Blue filter FG1C and Infrared lens cover.
This famous strobe light was used by the U.S. military since late 1960s. It was originally issued with various aircrew survival vests and life preservers. It was waterproof and produced an intermittent flash of light visible for beyond five miles. Accessories include a carrying pouch, flash guard / blue filter (FG1C), and various types of lens covers. It was later replaced by the MS-2000 strobe and other modern strobes.
Flash guard / Blue filter (FG1C) attaches at the front of the strobe. It converts the color of the flash from white to blue. This will make it clear to friendly forces that it is not a muzzle flash and that they should not shoot back. The flash guard also allows the light output to be concentrated and aimed at the target rescuers or observers, thus preventing the enemy from seeing the exact position of the operators. The Flash guard can be stowed upside-down over SDU-5/E when not in use.
Infrared lens cover converts visible white flash into infrared flash which is only visible by night vision equipment. It is designed for signaling at night when enemy troops are nearby.
Special Force operators commonly attach the strobe at the top of their helmets for easy signaling and rescue facilitation.
Multi-Mission Axe 1503
Period: 2018. The Multi-Mission Axe is a rescue and survival tool built for the unforgiving environments encountered by military, law enforcement and emergency response professionals. The core of the axe is a single piece of hardened S7 tool steel, a steel formulated to withstand extreme shock and impact.
From head to tail, the MMA has function and performance in mind. The head features a 3.9" cutting edge, bolt-on hammer and hex wrench tool. The tail has an angled pry bar, seatbelt cutter and hex wrench. The handle offers multiple hand positions for optimizing your grip for the particular chopping, hammering or prying job at hand. It utilizes shaped G10 handle scales designed to keep your hands in place even in extreme conditions. Wet or dry, your grip will stay secure.
Portability is a factor in any operation, and Outland has you covered with the MMA Modular Sheath. The sheath securely holds the axe using internal latch features and two BioThane® Coated Webbing straps. It allows for both easy access and deployment. The Modular Sheath can accept accessories for mounting on a belt or MOLLE gear, hang from a shoulder strap or bolt to a vehicle. The carry options are endless.
