Body Armors

Scorpion Body Armor System Prototype

Made by Crye Associates between 2004-2006.

Entire system is designed to work as a cohesive, protective and interlocking uniform with many anatomy based angles and support components for natural human movement and weight distribution.

System contains molded foam, high impact plastic, kydex, soft Kevlar armor panels and unique shaped hard armor panels created by Ceradyde to try and counter ballistic, fragmentation and blunt force threats.

Modular design allows for integration of Crye blast belt and pack system.

Camouflage pattern is original Crye Scorpion, predecessor to Multicam.

T.G. Faust NATO Special Forces Body Armor (1st SFOD-D Customized)

NATO Special Forces Body armor was manufactured by T.G. Faust Inc. in the late 1980s. It was worn by the 1st SFOD-D Delta Force in the late 1980s to mid-1990s, and served in Operation Just Cause (Panama, 1989) and Operation Gothic Serpent (Somalia, 1993). Many of these body armors were heavily customized to meet a diverse range of mission requirements.

Designed and manufactured meet the needs of elite forces of the military and police. The body armor provides maximum protection for the front, side and back and has removable neck and groin protection. Large pockets on the front and back accommodate optional removable ceramic plates, which upgrades the vest to protection from high power weapons. A large quick release flap on the front, as well as the shoulders, allow the wearer to shed the vest rapidly in adverse situations. The vest is constructed of Cordura nylon coated for water repellency.

TP-1E body armor was manufactured by Armour of America in the late 1980s to 1990s. It is one of the iconic body armors worn by the U.S. Navy SEALs in the late 1980s to mid-1990s and served in Desert Storm.

TP-1E body armor provides ballistic protection from neck to coccyx. It features front and back pockets for curved hard armor plates of different protection levels. TP-1E body armor has adjustable shoulder straps and double Velcro overlapping closure from both sides. The armor was often spotted at VBSS operations and CQB training.

The TP-1E armor featured here is made in the mid-1990s and has a Nylon carrier. Early TP-1E armor has a Nomex cloth carrier which appears “purple-black” in photos. We will introduce the Nomex TP-1E in the near future.

Ultra Low Visible Concealable Body Armor (ULV CBA)

Ultra Low Visible Concealable Body Armor (ULV CBA) was manufactured by Velocity Systems in the late 2010s. The system provides maximum concealability with optimum mobility, protection, and comfort. Suitable for operational environments ranging from hostile to uncertain that requires a high level of small arms protection without revealing their aggressive body armor protective posture.

The system greatly reduces operators’ overall tactical signature for low visibility / plain clothed operations and provides ballistic protection against prevalent rounds found in current theaters of operations.

The ULV CAB features a slick carrier, elastic cummerbund, side plate pockets with elastic magazine holders, level 3A rated inserts, and super low profile ULV cut steel plates. It is considered the best in its class.

American Body Armor TAC-100R Ballistic Face Mask

American Body Armor TAC-100R Ballistic Face Mask was manufactured by American Body Armor and Equipment, Inc. in the 1980s. The mask was used by Special forces and law enforcement agencies in close-combat situations like hostage rescues, drug busts, and other raids.

The mask was designed to provide total front facial protection against NIJ Level II and lesser ballistic threats. Padding is incorporated at the forehead and either side of the face to maximize shock absorption from ballistic threats. A fully adjustable six point elastic attachment system ensures perfect fit and maximum security.
