Underwater Kinetics Super QXL Scuba Flashlight

In late 80s, Delta operators installed Super QXL scuba flashlight underneath the bottom handguard of their Colt M723 carbine. Custom-made remote switch was also added for pressure activation.

SureFire M900A Millennium Vertical Foregrip System

Sure-Fire M900A Millennium Vertical Foregrip WeaponLight attaches to Picatinny rail interface-equipped weapons via a built-in A.R.M.S. throw-lever mount. M900A is equipped with five separate switches: (1) two pressure-sensitive momentary activation pads to control the main battle light - one on each side of the grip for ambidextrous operation (2) a constant-on switch (3) a system disable switch to lock the light in the OFF position for covert operations or to eliminate accidental light activation during storage, and (4) a third, smaller momentary switch to control two low-output LEDs that are useful whenever there is a need for a very small amount of light (stealth navigation, nighttime breaching operations, etc.)

Insight Technology VLI (Visible Light Illuminator)

Insight Technology VLI (Visible Light Illuminator) was the selected weapon light system in the original SOPMOD M4 accessory kit. It was issued to the USSOCOM communities in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

VLI is an extremely powerful visible illuminator that emits a highly concentrated beam of visible light for acquisition and identification. It is powered by either 3 CR-123A batteries or by 6 AA batteries. VLI can be used with Night Vision Devices and can be used as either a handheld illuminator or can be weapon mounted using the VLI’s Integral Rail Grabber Mounting Bracket. The bracket fits the KAC Rail Interface System (RIS) which provides MIL-STD-1913 mounting rails. In weapon mounted mode, the VLI can be used to accurately direct fire as well as illuminate and designate targets. VLI also comes with two filters (infrared and red) and a cable switch that provides fingertip control of the VLI using a rubber membrane style switch.
