Helmets
RBR Helmet, Model S4, 2nd Gen
Period 1990s. RBR helmets are favored by special forces teams in the 1990s. The RBR S4 Helmet offers a lightweight, NIJ level IIIA, compact, and sleek design, ensuring no sacrifices to ballistic protection. This Combat Helmet has been used by military, police, and tactical units globally. Its shape enhances peripheral visibility and neck movement for the wearer. RBR Ballistic Helmets have been evaluated at H.P. White Laboratory for Level IIIA standards. They are tested against the penetration and back face deformation of Level IIIA 9mm and .44 Magnum ammunition, adhering to the HP White Helmet Test Procedure (HPW-TP-0401.01B). Furthermore, this testing mandates that one of each specified rounds must strike directly on a suspension system fastener, resulting in zero penetration, establishing the RBR Helmet as superior to any other ballistic helmet available at that time.
This specific setup is modeled after the helmet used by Delta Force operators in the 1990s.
